Finishing Instructions: Liv’s Classic Slow-Roasted Pork

To enjoy your pork at its best—succulent meat and crispy crackling—we recommend this two-step "Chef's Method."

1. Warm the Meat (The Gentle Way)

The goal is to heat the pork without cooking it further, which can make it tough.

  • The Oven Method: Preheat your oven to 160°C. Place the pork into a baking dish. Cover the dish tightly with foil to keep the moisture in.

  • Timing: Heat for 8–10 minutes until the meat is just warmed through.

2. The Crackling "Flash" (The Secret to the Crunch)

Crackling often loses its snap when stored in a bag.

  • The Grill: Place the crackling under a hot grill (broiler) for 1–2 minutes. Watch it closely! You want it to sizzle and "re-puff" without burning.
